Welcome to Copperas Cove Jr High School! As a school counselor, I am always so amazed at the growth in our students throughout their junior high years. Each year I feel I learn as much from them as they might from me.

Having lived in Copperas Cove from age 11, I have enjoyed and benefited from the “small town” feel of our community. My husband grew up here as well and we raised our children in Copperas Cove. I find great joy and pride to be working for a district where I was educated and on the exact campus where I attended high school. I believe Copperas Cove is a “city built for family living!”

Prior to obtaining a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology, I was a special education teacher in CCISD. Before that I taught at the local community college. Counseling is a passion; I truly enjoy helping students become more self-aware and self-directed, learning to be problem-solvers, and discovering good coping skills for life.
