The CCJHS bands were given a spirited send-off this week as they departed to compete in the UIL competition. Bullpup Cheerleaders and Starlettes, along with numerous students and staff, gathered to cheer them on as they boarded the bus, showing strong support for their musical achievements.
Their hard work and dedication paid off, as both CCJHS bands earned perfect scores, bringing home coveted "Sweepstakes" trophies. This victory continues a longstanding tradition of excellence, with Bullpup bands consistently achieving top marks in UIL competitions for multiple years in a row.
The bands’ impressive performance reinforces their reputation for musical excellence and showcases the commitment of both students and directors to maintaining a standard of success.
CCJHS bands are under the direction of Ryan Stewart, Katherine Kelley, and Jolene Travis.
CCJHS Cheer and Starlettes are coached by Adrianna Fox and Marie Fox.
