On April 15th, our military-affiliated students had an incredible opportunity to visit the National Mounted Warrior Museum and the 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment. Students enjoyed an engaging tour where they not only learned about the history and traditions of the Cavalry, but also had the unique chance to interact with the horses—an experience they won’t forget! 🐎
This special day allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and experiences their family members in the military may have gone through, making it both meaningful and memorable.
This experience was made possible through the collaboration of Mrs. Perez, JS2S Sponsor (Military Connection Organization), Mrs. Montenegro, Military Family Life Consultant, and Coach Tippens, Veteran. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at the museum and the soldiers of the 1st Cavalry Division for their warm hospitality and for making this day so impactful for our students. 🇺🇸

Ms. Martin and Mr. Supinski work effortlessly as dedicated leaders and problem solvers who handle the daily demands of our school. We appreciate all of their long hours, and behind-the-scenes demands that help our school run smoothly. This is their week to give them some extra praise, but we certainly appreciate them EVERYDAY! THANK YOU ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS' MARTIN AND SUPINSKI!

Last night, CCJHS hosted a parent night for incoming 7th and 8th graders. They learned about all of the academic and extracurricular activities that the students will have to choose from next year.

REST UP! Ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep!
FILL UP! Students should eat a nutritious and hearty breakfast. School breakfast is available every morning.
SHOW UP! Plan to be on time or early on test days so students don’t feel rushed or anxious. Avoid planning appointments or picking your child up early on these days. We want them to have as much time as they need to take the test.
